Summer Interns

Interns

Advantage summer interns for 2015
from the University of Idaho.

Alix Spurgeon is a senior and will be graduating in December with a B.S. in Advertising with a minor in Marketing. She was born and raised in the small town of Graham, Washington, which is about 25 miles northwest of the beautiful Mount Rainier.

Alix is interning at Advantage this summer to explore the different roles within advertising and engage in the various tasks of agency life. Most recently Alix worked with Life Choices as the talent in their new TV spot. She enjoyed the behind the scenes experience and the opportunity to participate in the spot itself. Alix looks forward to shadowing Chris and learning more about the role of project management.
Her goal upon graduation is to start a career in project management at an agency in the greater Seattle area.

Allen Jennings is originally from Lewiston and interning at Advantage has showed him a new-found-love for his hometown. He is graduating from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Advertising and a minor in Marketing in December.

While at Advantage, Allen has worked on a variety of projects for the Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District, Life Choices, University of Wyoming Athletics and other clients. The majority of his work has been drafting ideas and shadowing Dallas in production. He has also shadowed Michelle to learn more about how to buy and place media. While a majority of his work has been behind-the-scenes, Allen has also experienced the tremendous amount of paperwork that goes into billing and itemizing invoices for the work Advantage has done for each client.

After graduation he wants to start his post-grad career outside of the Lewis-Clark metro area and is actively looking into the Seattle, Denver, and Dallas areas. The primary agency roles that interest him are account management, creative, and media planning.
